George Lopez

George is a 20 year industry veteran that began working as an electrical apprentice at DKD in 1998. He quickly became one of the company’s youngest foremen at the age of 24. Since then Lopez has managed the company’s largest commercial and solar projects. Along with becoming a member in 2017, Lopez has been promoted to field superintendent, where he oversees the company’s field operations. When George is away from work, you can find him exploring the Rocky Mountains with his family and watching his favorite football team, the Steelers.

Eric Buenaventa

Buenaventa started working with DKD in 2000. From draftsman to site logistics manager to managing the company’s largest project to date, Buenaventa has worked in all areas of the company. In his new position as member, Buenaventa will also take on the role as senior project manager for our renewable energy department and will continue to provide exemplary project management services to our customers.

Eric enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and working on his farm.

Russell Kessler

Russell Graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Construction Science. He has served as Chief Estimator for DKD since 2009 and is responsible for budget development and preparing thorough estimates. He manages and coordinates DKD’s estimating team and schedule. On Russell’s free time he enjoys hunting and fishing.

James Brown

James Brown has over 25 years of experience in the electrical contracting industry.  As a member of DKD, James is able to make high level decisions on the fly, which is beneficial when meeting schedule milestones. Specifically, he has demonstrated his keen ability to execute detailed planning processes as well as develop solutions to satisfy our customer’s needs on our most high profile projects to date.

Dee Dennis III

In 2010 Dee became Chief Executive Officer and Managing Member of the company.  As CEO, he makes sure that the company works as a cohesive whole. He believes the most important part of the company is its people and encourages both professional and personal growth so they can reach their highest potential.

Dee is a graduate of the University of New Mexico with a degree in University Studies and Business.  While he attended UNM he played baseball and is now heavily involved in supporting the athletic program. He has been a member of the board for the Children’s Cancer Fund of New Mexico since 2010. Besides spending time with his family, Dee enjoys golfing and cycling

Kurt Forsberg

Kurt has over 20 years of experience in the electrical contracting industry. He has successfully managed some of DKD’s largest and most complex projects. Because of Kurt’s extensive background, he is fluent in all processes on and off site which has proven effective when meeting fast paced schedules and overcoming obstacles.  His planning strategies and creative solutions to meet the customer’s needs are both qualities that make him a valuable leader.

Kurt loves golf, fishing and the LA Dodgers.

Josh Brokaw

LEED AP, NABCEP Certified PV Installer

Josh joined DKD in 2006. As COO, he leads a team of project managers to ensure successful projects. He believes that by empowering the people of the company, goals and growth can be achieved. On a daily basis Josh evaluates DKD’s operational systems to ensure continuous improvement.

Josh received his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of New Mexico. Outside of DKD, Josh is an avid cycler and golfer.
